This page and its resources have been developed to enhance access to SEM for professionals with disabilities.

Mathematics Accessible to Visually Impaired Students
Based at New Mexico State University, MAVIS is dedicated to serving high school and university students of mathematics, as well as anyone involved in providing these students with access to mathematics.

Science Access Project
This is the homepage of the Science Access Project at Oregon State University. The purpose of this group is to develop methods for making science, math, and engineering information accessible to people with print disabilities.

Teaching Math to Visually Impaired Students
This site, based at the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, presents strategies for teaching math to blind and visually impaired students. All levels/types of mathematics are covered.

InfoUse Project: Planemath
Planemath is a Web-based multimedia product teaching math and aeronautics to children with physical disabilities. This InfoUse project, in cooperation with NASA, stimulates interest in aeronautics and science careers.
