Converting Media to Work with MAGpie 1.0

MAGpie utilizes the Windows Media Player to play the video that is to be captioned. Even if your video will not play in Windows Media when captioned, it is necessary that Windows Media be able to play the video while it is being captioned.

MAGpie 2.0 does not have this limitation.

QuickTime (.mov) Using QuickTime, export as AVI
RealNetworks (.rm, .ra) In the case of RealNetworks media, it is necessary to obtain the original media that was used to create the RealAudio or RealVideo. The original media should be compatible with Windows Media Player.
Flash (.swf) Using QuickTime, export as AVI
