Basic Procedure (Audio Descriptions)
The basic procedure for adding audio descriptions to your MAGpie project is as
follows:
A. Record audio descriptions
B. Transcribe and time audio descriptions
C. Review audio descriptions
D. Output files
Even if you are only interested in adding audio descriptions to your
multimedia, please read all of Section I , as most of the information contained there applies to audio descriptions as
well.
The current version of MAGpie supports the integration of audio description
files into RealPlayer SMIL presentations only. Microsoft's SAMI format does not
currently support the use of additional audio tracks. Apple's QuickTime format
does support additional audio tracks (which can be used for audio
descriptions). However, it is not necessary to use MAGpie to add them to QuickTime
